| This column is genuinely most unsatisfying. It seems to often be political spin. Real journalism would be to further investigate the issues brought up. For instance, who are the men you pictured within the article? What is their current status? Changing the photo caption on this late date appears to be inappropriate. This redaction of any historical and controversial media article smacks of Much larger and the Ministry of Truth. If the BBC was mistaken, then the mistakes needs to be acknowledged and corrected within a less elliptical fashion. There must be answerability. On the other side, if the BBC article might be correct, to the points that this might contradict the official record in america, the matter would in that case require further investigation and explication from the public interest. This does raise a good number of interesting questions about going back and editing stories after their publication not merely from a journalistic accuracy perspective but from a online publishing POV too. Personally I'm always detest to re write days gone by. I'm not saying it is something that's happened the following, but the more cynical in existence could point to it to illustrate of precident setting.It's good that the amendment may be recorded publicly, and the reasons driving it. I do hope every other changes made are reflected clearly so there is no-one to say the BBC is actually re writing stories. It is yet another within a long line of misleading tales and features from well-known media that seek to dissuade attention through the cold, hard facts of the particular 9. 11 truth movement (and to be positive, it certainly is worthy of the "movement" moniker). First of all, the FBI has never formally charged some of these people the hijackers, bin Laden, and many others in the 9. 11 attacks. Furthermore, there is significant research to indicate that some the supposed hijackers are now alive and well in the centre East. Finally, and most importantly, this hijacker identity theory is a small and relatively unsubstantiatied claim produced by a few in that 9. 11 truth community, and is certainly with far less importance than the irrefutable and well documented proof a false flag functioning.
